The PFD 1100, the latest Advanced Drilling Unit from Atlas Copco covers a wide range of applications for drilling and countersinking one-shot: from light duty high speed drilling till heavy duty drilling. Its unique modular design helps to lower the total cost of ownership, thanks to the simple service procedure and easy and fast configuration. The high powered turbine motor allows the tool to be used in most applications around component manufacturing and final assembly, increasing productivity and ensuring a constant spindle speed necessary to obtain the best hole quality. The PFD 1100 can be configured with an inline shape (vertical drilling) or right angle shape and with a wide range of speed and feed to be adapted at any need. The inboard lubrication system (integrated lubrication pump) guarantees the right amount of coolant at the cutting tool point for high efficiency drilling.
